History of Guild: Two Mile House ICA started in the village hall on 14th April 1951. It was the first in Kildare and founder members went on to set up the Country Market in Naas the following year.
Sadly our hall had to be demolished and since then our meetings have been in the National School opposite St Peterís Church.
Over the years we have had a steady increase in numbers mainly due to the growth of the village and its surroundings; from 2013 we had to relocate to the restaurant area of the Brown Bear, just down the road.

What kind of things would you offer a new member who might be thinking of joining your guild?
We are a warm and welcoming group and value the friendly atmosphere of our meetings and the relationships we forge. We aim to provide speakers covering topics from environmental issues to the arts, local histories, hobbies and arts and crafts. We have annual and monthly competitions and quizzes and we aim to run an exercise program once a year to try out different physical activities. We organize outings and fund raise for a number of charities through out the year and provide support in the Community when required. Our aim is to have fun and provide support and opportunities to make friends and learn at the same time.
